Popular music halls house amplified music performances. It is very important that the halls have dry acoustics, so the sound can be easily controlled by sound engineers. Besides that, a high sound insulation to the exterior environment and to adjacent spaces can be essential. Vibrations caused by dancing and jumping have to be controlled to avoid hindrance to other spaces in the building or towards the buildings in the neighborhood.
