“At RWS, Lynn is already seen as a real movie star.”
The RijnlandRoute is the largest infrastructure project in the province of Zuid-Holland. The series ‘De RijnlandRoute’ of Omroep West shows what is involved in such a large project, in which acoustics is also featured. The study examined the impact of the future sound levels due to traffic at the Lammerschapsplein on the residents of the apartment building directly adjacent to the square.
Level Acoustics & Vibration is involved in the Rijkswaterstaat project Gevelisolatie as acoustic consultant. In the project, it is investigated how much external (traffic) noise penetrates through the façade into the homes and what indoor sound level results from this.
When research shows that the indoor sound level in a dwelling is too high, measures are required to improve the sound insulation of the façade(s) and reduce the sound level inside.
