From 19 to 23 of October 2016 the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) took place in Amsterdam for the 22nd year. ADE is the largest dance festival in the world with venues spread over multiple locations throughout the entire capital city and accommodating 350.000 dance fanatics yearly. During this year’s edition a unique dance set was organized by Audio Obscura on a very special location. For the first time in the history of ADE, the tunnel underneath the Rijksmuseum was host to a four hour dance set by American DJ Maceo Flex. For the Rijksmuseum it was of importance that the pieces in the museum did not suffer damage as a result of the music. Level Acoustics & Vibration was present during the whole set to monitor vibrations, especially around the showpiece of the museum, the Nachtwacht.
