The renovation of the former ministry building to flexible government office at Rijnstraat 8 in The Hague has been completed. On January 6th the builders have finished their work and the Central Government Real Estate Agency (Rijksvastgoedbedrijf) has provided Poort Centraal with the certificate of acceptance. The new building will house 6000 civil servants from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment and other services. Besides office rooms, the building consists of a large meeting center and will house the new Van Kleffenszaal, a real eye-catcher in the building that will be used for large national and international meetings. The new occupants will move in next summer.
